Science can now edit our genetic code to create a new way of life. It can practically do everything we want. It can inject a synthetic corona virus into a bat and when the bat is released into the wild, the virus is transferred to human beings who become carriers of the disease. DNA manipulation has made as gods to produce a new man and a new world. But it has seriously stained our moral standards.

The Planet of the Apes Has Resurrected and Become Real!

Have we become the Planet of the Apes indeed?

The Planet of the Apes is about a world in which humans and intelligent apes clash for control. In the aftermath, human civilization collapsed. While the human race survived, 99% died from either the Simian Flu or the resulting collapse of society.

The Simian Flu proved a success when tested on apes as subjects, by enhancing their intelligence. In order to make the effects permanent in humans, a second more powerful and contagious strain was created by man, but which proved ultimately fatal to humans.

Over time, apes evolved while humans devolved because the mutated virus infects an area of the brain that reverts their intellect to primal instincts.

I abhor the day when I can no longer distinguish humans from apes. Yet, it seems this is what is happening to us today.

But take this as a satire, a way of celebrating resurrection in a hilarious way.

DNA manipulation has made as gods to produce a new man and a new world. But it has seriously stained our moral standards.

Man's freaking mind is really killing us softly. We inject the virus on the bat, which might be held captive in a zoo or in science laboratories, so that the poor, innocent bat can be blamed for the disease, not us. This is the reason why many call the zoo a prison cell of all innocents, and this is where science does its experiments before the results are finally applied to humans.

Genetic engineering or DNA manipulation is also done on organisms.

Known as GMOs, it's being applied extensively on foods.

But genetically modified foods are more known for their bad effects on our health and the environment.

Do you know what foods are genetically modified today? Here are some of them:

Maize, corn, potato, soybeans, strawberries, sugar, canola, rice, citrus, tomato, wheat, melon, barley, cereal grains, cassava, fruit and nut trees, bananas, animals, fish, and insects. Almost everything we eat now.

Here are the reasons why foods that are GMOs are not good for human consumption and for the environment.

Transgenic foods could create health risks by causing imbalance of the immune system, or allergy, which can trigger some physical reactions like asthma, hay fever, vomiting, diarrhea, and skin diseases like eczema.

Transgenes, being inheritable, once released to the wider environment, can appear in the genomes of the offspring of other crops or animals through pollination or in breeding, making the resulting offspring impossible to eradicate.

This is the reason why the the European union bans seven specific GMOs. Almost immediately, the U.S. biotech industry complained to the World Trade Organization (WTO) that the EU action effectively blocked up to 300 million dollars of potential U.S. agricultural exports annually.

The potential of U.S. exports to huge world markets, like India, is far greater.

Right-wing groups and industry organizations in the USA have been waging a campaign to promote genetically modified foods and discredit environmental groups such as the Centre for Food Safety and the Organic Consumers Association, on the grounds that they stand in the way of using GMOs to feed the world's hungry and poor.

Billionaires lobby for the promotion of GMOs. U.S. biotechnology giants like Monsanto, Aventis, DuPont and Dow Chemical and big agricultural groups such as the National Corn Growers Association strenuously lobbied the George W. Bush administration to bring a formal case before the WTO, challenging the EU's GMO regulatory system.

Lawyers and judges often handle cases of “undeniable culpability of business” in the death of people in their communities due to contaminants released into the water and air when fumigating crops or other damages caused to the local environment.

WTO finally declared that the European Union's safety bans on genetically modified food is illegal under its global trade rules.

Countries That Go Organic

Estonia is the world's first organic country! Bhutan, Denmark, and Germany are on their way to go organic Over 40 percent of food production in Austria is currently organic.

The city of Munich, Germany pays farmers in the watershed that supplies its drinking water to farm organically.

Rampant Violations

In 1995, it is reported that 50 transgenic pigs were sold for human consumption in Australia. In 1996, breeders in the UK were already producing other transgenic livestock like cattle, sheep, pigs, and chicken for human consumption that have faster growth rates, lower fat levels, and increased disease resistance.

The production of transgenic fish (salmon and catfish) for human consumption is now commonplace in laboratories around the world and fish farming is generally on the rise.

The Rockefeller Foundation international program on rice biotechnology spends millions of dollars to improve rice genetics.

Can we see a world whose future is organic? My research says the opposite. Monsanto and other groups spends billions of dollars a year aggressively advertising the benefits of GMOs. Their reasons:

Number 1. Resistant to Pests, Diseases, Herbicides

1. maize (zea mays) - resistant to ampicillin

2. cotton - resistant to boll worms

3. tobacco – resistant to budworms

4. corn – resistant to corn borers and droughts

5. potato - resistant to beetles

6. atrazine-resistant soybeans

7. sugar, beets, corn, cotton, canola (spring rape), and rice, which are resistant to high dosages of herbicide known as Roundup

Number 2. Resistant to Frost, Salt, Drought

1. frost-resistant strawberries, citrus, and potatoes

2. salt-tolerant tomato, melon, and barley varieties

3. glyphosate-resistant tobacco

4. Disease, pesticide, herbicide resistant

5. Extreme weather condition resistant

6. Longer shelf-life

7. Able to thrive in extremely hot, dry, and rocky terrains

8. Tolerant to salt, drought, and frost

9. Zero-fertilizer input

10. Increased yield, enhanced taste and quality of crops

11. Reduced maturation time

12. Increased nutrients

13. It is now possible to produce one crop or animal that contains all or most of the basic nutritional requirement for man.

14. It will be much easier in the near future to produce and cultivate wheat, corn, and rice capable of increasing the yield of these crops even in poorer and adverse soil conditions due to low organic content, vulnerability to erosion, desertification, high salinity, and changing rainfall patterns.

Number 3. Better yields to:

1. Animals. Better yields of meat, milk, and eggs. Improved animal health. Increased resistance and hardiness. Preservation of rare species. Continued supply. Better organs for human transplant.

2. Crops. Enhanced taste and quality. Reduced maturation time. Increased nutrients, yields, and stress tolerance. Improved resistance to disease, pests, and herbicides. New products and growing techniques.

3. Environment-Friendly bio-herbicides and bio-insecticides. Conservation of soil, water, and energy. Bio-processing for forestry products. Better natural waste management. More efficient processing.

4. Society. Increased food security for growing populations.

So, there you are, Guys. We are up against another invincible Goliaths. Humanity is being attacked on all fronts.

If we want to protect our health and that of our children and the future generations, let's go organic.
